Hagay-Tech Special Report: Hi-Tech Trends 2015 (from applicant's point of view)
As i started looking for my new & exciting role, i have noticed that the companies who response to my job application forms, can be divided to 3 main areas. These companies reflect the development-trends arising in the israeli hi-tech market as seen the-facto in the Tel-Aviv to Netanya area zone. I hope the found results will not shock you deeply. People with weak heart, in pregnant, epileptic or standing on one foot, are hereby recommended to sit (and stop reading this post). Here are the results:
The most wanted skills from candidates, except programming of course, are scalling & security knowledge and experience. These enable availability and reasonable performance even while the rush-hours where tenth-millions of users might log in.
Other seen fact is that Kiryat-Atidim/Ramat-Hachayal working area became more relevant or attractive to applicants while Hertzeliya-Pituah historic development area seems more static:
The results are based over ~40 companies as: Google, Amazon, VMWare, RadWare, QualityScore, BondIt, Cortica, Palantir, Comillion, Cisco, ReactFul, Komoona, Plataine, CityBank, Simplex, CyberReason, ForexManage, QuantWorld, 5thDimension and many more.
