What will you take as your private project, if you get hired by Google?
Well, we all know, that when you get hired by Google, you get the chance to influence and do things that will be seen by billions of people. Except for the regular daily work of building better search algorithms (is it even possible?), designing Google-Drive new functionalities (like Google Cars), and implementing some trivial Advertising analysis related activites , you also get the chance to create YOUR OWN Special project. So? What will that be? Best 10 ideas will be promoted to Google (since you all know they are already looking here anyhow, right?). Who knows, it might get you hired as well...
Some of my Research Ideas:
"Hands-On (Wheel)" regulated application
A mobile application that will be installed either by parents or automatically OTA by the carriers to prevent phone use (talk + messaging) while in drive, unless the device is connected by handset. The prevention is simply made by setting the device into Airplane Mode, unless the release password is given (optional 4 emergencies). If done per state/country with goverment regulation, the end device can report its location to centaral management server only when the device velocity is over certain threshold. That way when several people sit in the same car, only the driver can be identyfied and prevented (distances between same-car people and subsequent/front/back-cars people can be segmented). It's important, since too many people are killed every year for talking on the phone while driving. The Slogan should have been "Don't phone and Drive!" (instead of - 'Don't drink and drive').
Googlogic-Garden Platform (Hi-Teach System, or iTeach for Macs)
Work within Google employees' kids garden, in order to test new creative patterns to teach & learn in the fun way. Try to develop a full eco-system, containing a platform, related toys and accessories to enable teaching kids (ages 3-5) about mathematical logic and thinking. An average kid can read and understand A-Z and basic numbers operations(+,-,*) up to 20 before starting elementary school (at age 6). The teaching process is built by combinations of methods i evolved over many years of teaching, that use memory tricks, physical movement and singing for easy, efficient and fun learning. Some examples: Learning the numbers with an easy related dance & song, relating an animal/character to every letter and building words or sentences by creating a story from the 'animals' ingredients, doing asymetric body movements to enhance 2 brain's sides connectivity, practice opposites words with 'child' associations, basic knowledge about how daily things are made up of while balancing on one foot, and muce more. This system will enable global marketing of training sessions to different gardens and schools to use our platform and its related accessories products world wide. Eventually it can help more people in the long run, since education and knowledge that is gained in early age are most valuable per one's future possibilities. Other research directions involve teaching some Physics & Chemistry concepts such as Solid, Fluid and Gas states of matter and effects implied by temperature and pressure. The states are illustrated by the kids themselves and their related distance in the group with accompanying teacher activity and speech. Temperaute can be illustarted by the energy we have in our body and therefore how fast we move in the room, and so on for pressure, etc. As a very hyper-active creative person, i have some other 457 ideas,
